Do you want to swim faster and learn how to swim in Stockholm?
Stockholmspolisens IF Simförening is a swimming club that draws its origins from the Stockholm Police Athletics Club, originally founded in 1912 when the Olympic Games were held in Stockholm. SPIF is one of the all-time most successful swimming clubs in Sweden with several Olympic and world class swimmers.
Today the club has more than 1 200 members and offers training and a chance to compete at all levels, from beginners to elite and even masters/adults courses. SPIF is driven by the motto "quality and heart". You should have fun during training and be given the tools to develop in tune with your own ability, thus allowing for the development of a high-level competitive swimmer.
Stockholmspolisens IF Simförening offers training at seven different swimming pools in Stockholm. Many of our competitive swimming groups practice at the national arena for aquatic sports at Eriksdalsbadet enclosing both a 50 m olympic pool and a 25 m competition pool.
Are you looking for a swimming club for your child or yourself ranging from all ability levels? Are you ready to take plunge and master all four competitive strokes crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly?
